So last week we were exploring Australia! We read Chocolate Mousse for Greedy Goose which featured animals from Australia, we went to the outback in our sensory tray and learnt all new Australian nursery songs!

The children also enjoyed taking part in some mess free art, using our specialist ladders to develop their standing and balance skills as well as having quiet time watching the bubble machine as the children use the paddles to change the colour.

A fantastic week of achievements once more for the children, this week we have particularly noticed the developing signing skills of the children which helps to support their spoken language and communication.

All the children are becoming much more adventurous and using their various methods of mobility enjoy exploring the toys and resources around the room. We even have our very own little soldier who can mover quicker than the adults within the room with commando crawl!!
